Tove Jansson created Moomin in 1945, and 2025 they will celebrate their 80th anniversary. The 13 original books have been translated into over 55 languages. Inge-glas x Moomin is a lisenced and time bound agreement between Inge-glas Manufactur and Moomin Characters. The glass decorations are a handicraft from start to end, made out of mouthblown glass, that is also hand painted, and all the finishing details are added by hand. They come from Bayern in Germany, where they have been manufactured in several generations.
